I had heard they stopped too, glad to hear that we can still get it done. My cluster is on it's last legs and it's really bothering me.

Default My Lextech experience

I had a 93 Sc400 and had my cluster reworked by them and went with the 16 Green with the Blue needles. The turnaround time was as quoted and the product was very nice. I never had a problem once I installed it. My problem stemmed from having one of the electrical plugs from the wiring harness that stays in the car when you ship your cluster, either got too hot in the sun or got smashed by the retracting steering wheel (who knows?) But imagine my surprise when I got ready to install the new unit after waiting for a week. It took 2 days of multiple long sessions trying to get that lopsided plug to align with the other one and FINALLY somehow..... it finally went
together.

For those considering the upgrade:

Anyway bottom line...the upgrade is worth it! I got many compliments on mine. You can still drive the car too....Just top her off with fuel (often) till your gauges come back. And don't forget to wrap those plugs with tape to protect them till its time to plug them in.
