I wanted to alert other consumers that are looking to purchase aftermarket HID lights. I purchased a set of 4,300 K lights from XenonKing.com in November 2005 for my IS250. Upon the receipt of the kit, I noticed that one of the bulb housings was ill-fitted as it would not fit into the light housing. I sent it back (after waiting for over a week for a return authorization from XenonKing). Nearly two weeks later, I finally received the replacement. I installed the light and noticed that it soon shorted nearly a week later. It appears that it was the ballast. After paying another $15 and another week later, I shipped it out and received a replacement.

One of their "gimmicks" that XenonKing advertises is that you can win a free HID kit or be refunded the money you paid if you send in pics of the final product (installed) and are chosen. I sent in my installed pics - four in all. I visited the XenonKing site nearly a month ago and noticed that they used one of my car pics in their "gallery" to advertise the 4,300K kit. I e-mailed them several times and asked them about the use of my photo constituting their own "free offer". I have not received a call back or a written response.

In light of my own experience in dealing with this company, I would advise to not patronize them in any way. I have purchased another set from XenonDepot and have had a far better experience with product and service.

 

Teracon, appreciate sharing the feedback but XenonKing is not a vendor on our forum. In fact, they've been banned from our forum for violating our terms of service and soliciting (probably a good indicator of the treatment you received).
