Exclamation PIAA Bulbs

Ok i've searched this forum high and low looking for the answer but i can't find one SO i figured start a new thread and ask and others can benefit in the future

I'm looking into putting PIAA yellow bulbs for my fogs and as i understand they are size 9006. Now i went on amazon, ebay, a host of other car sites, etc, and none of them seem to carry the size i need. However, i did notice they had a lot of HB size and often times they mention (9005/9006) next to it. I figured there's an adapter so it can be used for either size.

I went to a local store today since i heard they stocked the HB's and they told me it won't fit and they double checked the catalog and showed me that other cars are listed as HB while the ISX50 is listed as 9006

Has anyone put the:
PIAA Ion Crystal HB
or
PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow HB

in their cars?

Thanks

PS: anyone know of any place to get a really good price on them? So far i see them in the 50-60 dollar range everywhere

PIAA in my opinion is over priced... I and many others here bought my Lumincs ones for 27 bucks shipped on ebay from a guy I regularly buy lights from.

Here is the auction, and here is a pic (note all lights are not so blue, my camera doesnt get the color right at all):

ben_r,
Are those LEDs in your daytime running lights? I know there are a million posts on this, but sorting through them is too much sometimes.

If these are, what kind are they and where did you get them? Big deal to replace?

Also, I hate to ask you this, but I'd love to see a picture just like this one with just the DRL's on if possible. Please?

Thanks,
Old Oiler

He has his low-beams on, so his DRLs are not on. You are probably referrring to his "city lights". The DRLs are the high-beams on reduced power.

Yep, and besides I cant turn on the DRLs anymore, I had them shut off by the dealer. The LED city lights you are seeing there are a pain in the butt to change, but can be done obviously.
