Go with 4300k.

6000k is nice as well, but you find that you will get tired of it. I had it on my previous Audi.

I got 6000k for my es
They don't look as good on the frosted projectors though...
The color vs light output is great.

I voted 6000k and even though 4300K will yield the highest Lumens rating, the tiny hint of blue in the 6000k looks awesome!

Yes, just get the same based bulbs i.e. if you got a 9006 kit you would replace with 9006 rebased bulbs.

OEM Phillips D4S 4800k is the best HID kit you can get... 3800 lumens! Brightest bulbs on the market! Plus its cheaper than XD's 4300k OEM kit!

The white looks better with Yellow fogs too.

4300k ftw, I;ve heard the deeply colored (10k) bulbs put more strain on your eyes when driving at night, which doesn't sound too good. And the higher the color, the lower the lumens.

I agree 1000%... just installed my kit yesterday and they are beautiful.... digi cam battery will be charged tonight (hadn't touched it since the cruise) and I'll snap some pics... the cutoff line is quite defined... I just need to adjust them (up, even) as it seems they have been pointed down for a long time...
