Relay and Wiring Harness Question
Hey guys, as most of you know I recently installed my HID Conversion kit in my Jaguar X-type. I am 100% satisfied with the kit but I do have some technical questions.
The kit I installed in my SC300 came with a wiring kit and relay. Unfortunatily my X-type's kit did not.
I made my own wiring hardness and I just wanted to make sure I used the correct wiring specs and fuses.
Here is what I currently have created.
Parts:
-2 Bosch SPST Relays
-2 15amp 14AWG Inline Blade Fuse holders
-12AWG 14" Power Cable splits into 2 14AWG wires to Fuses (Relay PIN 30)
-12AWG 5' Cable going into passanger Xenon Ballast (Relay PIN 87)
-12AWG 2' Cable going into Drive Xenon Ballast (Relay PIN 87)
-12AWG 5' Cable going to factory Passanger headlight Wiring as Switched Input (Relay PIN 85)
-12AWG 2' Cable going to factory Driver headlight Wiring as Switched Input (Relay PIN 85)
Now my question. Is a SINGLE 12AWG Power cable enough to power the Entire kit without possible failure from overload?
