This is my 1st post to Club Lexus although I've been around here and is.net for a while. I recently traded my IS300 for a new IS350. It has the AFS bi-xenon set-up. I've driven lots of cars with HID and two others with HID projectors. The IS350 has a very yellow cut-off band. The rest of the beam is bright white. When I'm driving the cut-off makes the lights look like a high-powered halogen. I know the main part of the beam with color shift with time, but do you guys have any experience with modifying the cut-off like the TSX washer trick?

First off, you must understand that you have to disassemble the whole housing to get to the projector. It's not too hard, but you just have to have the guts to do it to your expensive set of headlights. I usually don't have a problem with it
Anyways, any projector can be modified for color and cutoff. Just alter the shield, lens, or housing spacing. It just takes a bit of experimenting to get it down to how you like it. My recommendation is if your shield is bendable, then pull it back or push it foward slightly until you reach the desired color in the cutoff. If the shield is a solid piece and unbendable, then you will have to add spacing to the bottom of the projector. This is usually done by adding washers to it.
