I know this is a stupid question.
I have a 2006 IS350, and I dont even know if i have HID! hahahaha....
How do you see it besides by looking at the color? Any1 has picture of an IS with no HID on the low beam? And any1 has picture of a stock IS with HID? How can you differentiate if you have a stock HID on your IS just by looking at it even in the day????

 

If u switch it on, it burns bright then fades then gradually turns bright.
Or if u see its brighter than ur previous car with no HID.
And if its more white than yellow.

 

You can try that, but an easier way is to tell is what everyone else is saying. Have the car off and turn on the headlights. If you hear a buzzing sound, it's HID. If your headlights move, they're HID.

 

If you got the X package, then you should have HID's.

 

2006 IS dont have AFS right???? How bout the crystal ball look?? Does those who does not have HID have it too or not???

 

All ISs have that magnifying glass looking projector regardless of HID equipped or not.

 

ohhh...okay2...does the 2006 IS350 comes stock with HID??? i know the IS250 have the options...any1 know??

As what i know.....for 2006, HID comes with the Luxury package.....

I have a Luxury and i do have it,duno about urs...ask the dealer or check ur invoice ,it might mentioned it
