Sylvania Silverstars have just come out with a supposedly better bulb for night driving, the "Ultravision" bulb.
Anyone try these yet? I wonder if they are similar to Phillips new night driving bulb.

I just saw them the other day. They do look interesting. A lot of money though for halogens.

Had the old silverstars, didn't like em. Not bright enough. Switch to PIAA's
Those went out recently and replaced with the new silverstars.
Dramatic improvement over the regular silverstars.
Don't think I'll ever have to buy another pair of PIAA's

pics? the regular silverstars are only slightly brighter but definitely whiter. I'd like to see if it's really a big difference as you claim. I wouldn't mind if it was brighter.

Hope you don't mind me asking where you bought them from and how much?

Autozone's pricing was ~$49.99 for a pair of the Ultravision depending on the configuration.

Everything in the U.S. is half the price that the identical product is up here!
I was trying to find some info about the Ultravisions on the Sylvania website - could not find them listed anywhere...isn't that a little strange?

I tried that the first night I saw them in the store and thought the same thing too. Very odd.
