Has anyone who had a retrofit done ever had a time when the HIDs would not turn on? I don't drive my car too often - last time was about a month ago - but this recent time, I left the battery connected. When I started the car, it struggled a bit and fired up, but the HIDs would not work.

I checked the fuses and they were fine. Other than buying new ballasts and bulbs, is there another way to troubleshoot?

Also, as for the wiring, is it all the same on all ballasts? Would I connect each wire directly to the battery? Is there anywhere I can pick up a wiring harness?
