Default HID questions, please help!

Hi everyone, I'm very interested in installing HID's in my IS, I have a few comcern:

1. What will look more to OEM? the 4300k or the 6000k?

2. I've talked to Steve from Xenon Depot, and he gave me a promotion code, its $380 with shipping. Is it a good deal? Any other brands that you all recommand?

3. I live in Ft Worth TX, do ya'll know what place is good to install them professionally? I've never done this before and I don't want to mess it up.

Thanks,
Henson

1. The 4300k will look more OEM and it will have more output than the 6000k.

2. HID kits from Xenon Depot have been praised by CL 2IS owners who have it and be sure to buy the kit that is made by Philips- one of the better HID brands out there. You can search for pics of it on this forum by typing in "4300k" or "6000k"

3. Most audio/tint shops can install them as it is not that difficult. You can call the shops around your area and have them quote you over the phone.

I am thinking about getting the Xenon Depot 6000k HID kit soon as I like the color better at night.

You can compare the OEM HID and the XD 6000k one here:

I've never done it before either and I installed it myself two weeks ago. If you're a handy person and can follow instructions, you should be able to do it yourself. I would recommend reading Muzzman's DIY thread. It helped me a lot.
