HID Conversion kit

I just want to find out if any of you guys have tried the HID 9006 Conversion kit with True HID Bulbs and Ballasts that they sell in the net?

Is it street legal (California)?, easy to install?, cheap $599?, would it void the warranty? etc. etc.

Any feedback will be deeply appreciated.

I too was looking for HID conversion kits... I am pretty sure they are street legal... I find some on ebay for around 400-600... and i see them at a website called www.autotoys.com which is not bad also... My local shops around here, charge about 500 for the unit, and like 200 for installation... which is a total rip off... At another shop, they guy was charging me 600 and like 50 for install, with 1 yr warrenty... he said his friends order some on ebay but totally regret it because it burned out or something... not sure... I am still looking into getting a HID conversion kit tho...

But, is there anybody out there who had their RX's installed an HID conversion kit? Pls. tell us or give us some info's.
