Default IS 250 Fog light help

Hey guys I am having the most difficult time replacing the fog bulbs. I bought the Piaa 9006 Xtreme White Plus bulbs and for some reason they will not fit. The problem that I see is that the stock fog bulbs have a small indentation around the bulb so that it turns in the housing properly. The bubls i bought (Piaa) do not have this groove and thus will not turn all the way. As a result will not fit. I have noticed that around the housing are three or four tiny screws that i beleive if i can unscrew a bit will allow the new bulbs to fit. To do this I need to take off the wheel and bend back the well as much as i can. However i have a couple of questions. Are there any sensors back there (airbags, or other) that i should be worried about if i bend it back too far? Also which is the best way to prevent the air bags from going off if i were to take of the bumper (disconnect the battery)? Anybody experience this or have any suggestions?
