Default Bulbs for Carson JP LED Tails?

OK, so I did some lighting experiments tonight and don't like the results yet.
The silver/amber bulb that comes with the LED tails for the turn signals lights up with a bit of a gray tone to it, kinda takes away from the yellow a bit. Not sure I like it compared to an LED bulb, so still trying to find the right one for that.
Worse, the reverse light only has a socket for a 168 bulb (CAN'T imagine whay they did that). You can only get that size with relatively low power. My current tail has a 21W Polarg Hyper White that's awesome, it's like having a headlight back there. SO what have you guys used for the reverse light bulb in these LED tails?

Use a 921 instead of the 168/194...it'll be significantly brighter.

I am also disappointed in the lights I bought. I bought the Piaa 2led White/White bulbs (194) for my parking lights and they are really really really blue and I hate them. Trying to find something that looks WHITE, something like the license plate light. Anybody know of anything???
