Default Brands for HID?

Hi, I'm looking for a set of HID for my IS350, I saw this brand called Xetronic™ HID Xenon Conversion Kits, Made In Japan. Was wondering have anyone here Installed or heard of this brand b4?

With everyone putting HIDs on, what brand of HID are you using?

Hey AK, I've heard of that brand name before but don't know how good the quality is. You can also purchase an HID kit from one of the club vendors, Xenon Depot, which provide a discount and will get you a good quality HID kit.

I recently bought an HID kit from www.understeer.com as they offer a discount and you can get a kit for as low as $200 (shipped) with a lifetime warranty (Apexcone brand). I bought a more expensive kit from them (Xtec brand at $259 shipped), also with a lifetime warranty that I got for my foglights. I can't tell you the quality of the kit because I haven't received it yet, once I do I will let you know how it performs. Happy HID kit hunting!!!

Spend a little more and get either MTEC kit from ebay ( they cost around 330$ or so) or if you want it better, go for Xenon Depot. I had them both and very happy with their products. I also has no name brand HID in the past for my Acura RSX and I can totally tell the difference. After all you are putting it in your 40K+ car, so I suggest you go for MTEC or XD.

hope that helps.

As far as McCulloch 5000K, XenonDepot's Philips 4300K is about if not the same already. The color described is pure white with (sometimes) noticeable traces of color.

correct, the oem phillips 4300k actually blues out and ends up at ~5000k after 25-50 hours of usage.
