I'll apologize in advance if there was another thread on this. I searched but didn't find one (at least not in the lighting section).

Has anyone here upgraded their interior lights? I'm specifically interested in an RX330, but it should be the same on any car. Was the improvement worth the expenditure?

Also, the Sylvania guide says the step/courtesy lights are 2825 bulbs. A search on eBay brings up 194 bulbs. Does that mean I can use 194 LED bulbs as a plug & play replacement? Also, are the interior door lights the same as the step/courtesy lights? (I'm assuming that's what they mean)

The sylvannia guide is good....but the best thing to do is to remove the cover and take a look at the bulb....try replacing it with a 194...and if that works....then you answered your own question.
