Default Interior Lighting

Hi all,

So I've installed VLED leds all throughout my RX about three years ago, plus back up lights, puddle and parking lights. I have since had one blown fuse, most of the lights have been intermittent, especially the mirror (vanity?) lights and just don't like the way bright white leds look in the beige interior, so decided to go back to stock.

Now, I was able to find some of the old bulbs and know how to source the once that I couldn't find, but before I do that, I wanted to ask for an advice/opinion or a suggestion.

So the old stock (halogen?) that I did find and installed seem to be on a weaker side and don't really do much in terms of illumination. THe question is, would brand new replacement lights do a better job than 13+ y.o. ones? And where, if any of you did, you bought the replacement stock interior lights?

Thanks a lot!

P.S. I do like the back up lights, puddle and parking lights though.

My car is an '04 RX330.

You've grown used to the LED bulbs. Filament bulbs are what they are. Age does not weaken them to any noticeable extent, only with usage with age, and to a small degree until they finally pop.

I believe Sylvania makes some higher output incandescent bulbs, but they're going to have a similar color temperature to LED.
