Default F'ed up my taillights

In the process of opening the 95 tails, I messed them up. I cut the diffusers to fit but they melt if I heat them in the oven. The real problem is ......... GLUE EVERYWHERE!! So much that I can't assemble the lights back, it's in excess to the sides and the lense. How should I clean it? Heat it and remove it piece by piece? I"m totally stuck...

It's hard to help without seeing photos. sounds like you need to buy new ones or sand the glue as much as possible and paint the housing inside. if you got the glue into areas where it should have a mirror like finish, it really might be better to get a new setup.

post some pics so we can offer better suggestions.
