Default XTEC HIDs = good?

Have any of you guys ever used XTEC HIDs in your cars? How are they? I am thinking of getting these for my IS 250. Here's the link: http://www.xenonexpert.com/xteckit.html What do you guys think? The light output is supposed to be better than the Xenondepot ones and I really want 5000K, not too blue, just right.

You just never know what you're really going to get.

I have noticed that Differnt kits with the same kelvin (5000k) for example, produce differnt light output and color output. Its all in the luck of the draw i guess.

Or if you must--look at another lexus with an HID KIT, and see if its the color you like and get the same kit.

Here's cutecboy's LS with Xtec 6000K (I think?) HIDs...the one on the left is a more accurate representation of the color.

Edit: Moved to the proper forum.

50 watt ballasts? So it is brighter than 35 watt ballast systems?
