D2S Problem
Okay this question is for the retrofit afficianados ( tiguy, jmai ,lex4jess ) or anyone who can tell me what the hell is going on with my lights??? Awhile back I bought some hella RS6 projectors and some Osram 4100k D2S bulbs off ebay and retrofitted them into my GS , I used my hella ballast that I had from a old hid kit . The ballast have D2S heads on them , so here is the problem I never had any problems with my ballast before I used to have some rebased phillips bulbs before and no problem now with the osrams one light shorts out when I checked the connector the two little prongs on the outer ring inside the d2s head which I assume is for ground were burnt kinda reminds me of a high wattage bulb smoking a wiring harness Im pissed because my light keep shorting out and in Chicago theyre making it to the point were if you so much as sneeze its a ticket. Inside the head is slightly burnt and and on the bulb around the metal ring which I assume is for also is burnt . WHATS-UP WITH THIS
