Hello all,

I am thinking about HID retrofitting for my '05 GS300 using Hella projectors with ECE specs and Phillips components. I am not going to do it myself, so can someone suggest a reputable person/firm that does great work within a reasonable amount of time? In Southern California? Thanks.

Larry Wu does great work and is in California. He's done many HID retrofits and hasn't had a single complaint. I recommend him to all my friends - you really need to see some of the work he's done.

IMO do your reseach on some of the guys. Check out ww.hidplanet.com/forums if you need someone local. Based on what you find/like at the end of the day, go with that.

I'm not sure. Send him an email. He's very meticulous with his work. I'll be sending him two sets of headlamps (Supra and SC) for HID retrofits sometime in February.

I believe one of his family members has a bodyshop, so he has access to a lot of equipment for custom fabrication, making his retrofit work so neat. His prices are at pretty standard rates, but his turnaround time is a little long. IMO, it's worth it. As mentioned, do a search for Larry's work on HIDPlanet - you'll see some of the amazing, professional (non-ghetto) work he does.
