Cool HID replacement options question

What options are available if an HID headlamp ***'y needs to be replaced? The cost of new is around $1300 ea. Can non HID units be used with non HID lamps, or can HID lamps be used in non HID ***'ys etc? Will non HID fit an HID equiped vehicle? If so, what wiring changes are necessary? My car is a 1999 LS400.

Thank you.

Do you have HID and need a new assembly?

Default HID replacement options question

I have HIDs that are pitted. I've been looking for replacements, that's when I got the news about the cost. Got me to worring what my options would be if one were destroyed. I can live without the HID at those prices. Am hoping there is a reasonable alternative. Do you have a deal on a pair?

Thanks for your reply.
