Default Blue window switch lights

Hey guys, my LEDs i ordered of the internet FINALLY came in and i installed them and the new resistors to the window switches and door lock switches. It looks absolutely KILLER. Infact, i didnt even know the window switches in the rear lit up at all. Nor did i know that when you press the window lock botton it turns off the lights to all the window switches as to indicate they are now locked. Anway i replaced the VERY faint and dim green leds on the circuit boards with new brighter LEDs and new resistors. There was drilling needed to be done and whatenot but no too terribly difficult. Enough talk, here are the pics.

In the pictures the shade of blue looks very light and not very blue, but in real life they are a very deep blue and much deeper and better color blue than the 74 blue LEDs ive used for my ac and ignition lights. (You can even see these lights durring the day, i love it!)

Or better yet post a link to where you bought them online right here.

Looks awsome I'll be doing that in the next few days

Hey guys, sorry it took so long to respond. I bought my LED's off ebay, lot of 100 for 15$, what a steal! Then i used a calculator online that tells me what resistors i needed. It will differ slightly for what kind of LEDs your going to use. I couldnt find any 3mm leds (stock) so i used 5mm and just had to drill the holes for the leds a little bit bigger. There are 5 leds and 4 resistors on the drivers door. 2 leds and 2 resistors on passenger (front). And in the rear 1 led and 1 resistor needed for both doors. I will post pictures of the process as soon as my printer decideds to work (its a nifty one where you can plug in any card into it). Maybe i could persuade it to work with some "gentle" tapping....

Here is the calculator (it also has other great information for LEDs

Good luck guys, its a great mod, just be VERY, and i emphasize VERY careful when removing the door lock switch cover, the ears are extremely easy to break, and if you break one then your really screwed.
