Oops I did it again...LOL I get a kick out of doing these when I have the spare time. This is another X5 projector with fingerprinted BMW 46 shrouds that need a cleaning lol. This is what I have so far painting them over again tomorrow closing them up and figuring out what to do with them next.

Not putting these on my car I already have another set on them I love. I just wanted to get these done and over with. Had 3 sets of GS headlights I got off of ebay dirt cheap last year so decided to butcher them lol. Heres my current.

Is the "XENON" imprint on the wrong side?

 

LOL No just used the passenger side projector while the drivers was drying.

 

Did you mod the x5 projector for more color?. Your headlights look great

 

Those are very sweet looking lights. i have a question for you though... Is the light still an HID after you are dont with the change or no?

 

They are now HID projectors. OEM 2GS headlights were either halogen or HID reflectors.

 

Mounted the projectors, took out the orange turn signal plastic for a better look no? and repainted the housing. Will let dry completely for a day then put the lenses on after I clean up the shrouds and high beam reflectors from all those damn fingerprints. XENON imprint on the right side just for you Neo

I'm especially loving the intricate detail when you look closer into the headlight and see the Xenon imprint.... for some reason it just adds to the flavor. Definitely HOTTT!!!!

 

i think the black housing looks good!!!! the car will look veyr sporty with the headlights

What does a set like that run us? Lookin really good and I must say the retro lights are comeing on very strong. Have you ever thought about making LED head lights?
