Looks icy blue GATO Nice mod!

When you turn on your turn signals, do the LEDs blink at the rate of a true LED bulb, or at the rate of a regular bulb?

yea i was just gonna ask that too... because the LEDs dont use that much power, so the car might think one bulbs is out or something right? and blink fast to indicate...

Any blinking bulb location that uses a regular thermal flasher is dependent on seeing the load of a regular bulb. If you replace the bulb with an LED type, it will blink faster, because the LEDs do not draw as much current. The usual fix for this is to add in resistor load equalizers, which will make the load look like a bulb to the flasher unit. The resistors can get hot though, so they need to be put in a safe location.
For some strange reason they continue to make flasher units that do this, apparently so that when a bulb is out you can tell by the increase in flash rate.

You can buy the load resister kit on the same website you bought the LED's from. You will need one kit for each blinker LED.

I ran wires down into the spare tire well, and used double sided foam tape to secure the resistors to the sides of the well. Very safe, good heat sinking. Keeps them away from anything that would melt/burn if they get hot. They don't really get too hot unless you keep your signals on for a long time, like if you forget to turn them off.
