Default Fixed the 'Can't See the Turn Sigs' Problem - Pics

I got tired of leaving my turn sigs on like a 90 year old man - especially with the music on. First I was going to put in a chime, but was avoiding it cause I thought it would be too annoying, and might not hear it under the music anyway. So I came up with this: first, I changed the reg green turn sig arrows to LEDs, then added a second set of amber LEDs (amber's the color of the turn sigs, right?) on either side of the speedo, in a spot that is easily seen. LEDs are flush mounted.

Check out the pics....

How tall are you? I don't know if how tall you are has anything to do with this problem, but I have the same problem. At least you are using your turn signals.

Another option would have been the new black cluster cover. Lexus moved the blinkers down a bit. I don't have problems seeing the blinkers anymore. YMMV with this fix though since everyone has different height and steering wheel settings.

I'm 5'9", and the dang right blinker is always blocked by the wheel with the way I sit, the left one most of the time too. I used the amber LEDs so that there would be NO way I could miss them being on. Call it senility.

I looked at that option and decided not to do it, mainly cause I wasn't sure I was going to wind up being able to see them.

Maybe you could hook up with someone in the area to try it out. All the 01+ 2GS have the new cover.
