Default Speedometer Light

I noticed the speedometer light on my 01 GS300 isn't too bright.
I've already turned the **** to full bright.

Is that how it is are do I have a faulty bulb there? Is it easy to change?

Try contacting Brian aka O.L.T. His website could be found at: http://www.lextech.org/osCommerce/

If anyone can fix your problem, he is the guy.

Thanks. But how is the original OEM light? Is it bright to begin with?

I don't have a GS so I cannot answer your question.

But if you take a picture and post it on here other owners can chime in and let you know how they compare.

The OEM light is not that bright either. It is enough to see and not fatigue the eyes but it won't come at you either.

Is that the year that looks like this?

If so, the needle is lit from the backlight, it has no light for the needle at all.

It's very bright, infact the problem is that it can't be dimmed, that's why LLS didn't release it. You get some help from the gauge cover, since it is 15% tint black (almost limo). Keeping that in mind, you'll never see anything more white than that cathode fired cluster. Too bad they weren't able to be dimmed.
