Default dome light question

i have a sc400 and there is a light(turns on when door is open) below the dash on the driver side. the previous owner cut the wires and wired it to his neons. i took out the wires and the +- wires accidently touched and now the dome light on top and the neon light doesnt light up anymore. i tried to check the dome fuse under the hood but its still good and the fuses inside the car and those were fine too. my questions is which fuse is the dome light hooked up and how du i fix tis problem since all the fuses are still good.

You're best bet is to get yourself a voltmeter and measure the voltage at the dome light and then keep on tracing it back.
