HIDs too bright?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to start anything here but I just don't want people thinking that aiming your retrofit hid kits at a static angle are "the same as real hid."

There are too many people with poor knowledge who blind others when they install hids "improperly." They are a road hazard to oncoming traffic.

nah you aren't starting anything, just discussions.

mounting it wrong of course is bad, but i still don't see why autoleveling is required. acura doesn't have autoleveling and their stuff are perfectly legal. when you turn on hid on acura, they aim at one angle and stay that way forever

My mistake, it was to my understanding that ALL OEM hid kits need to be fitted with an auto leveling system. I need to brush up on my HID laws

yeah, i was bumped when i got my acura without autoleveling too. then i found out that autoleveling seems to be a lot in europe, where it's mandatory. but it's not in the US that's why it's allowed here.
