The dimpled diffuser you will find in the lighting section. It's the sheets they use in office flourescent lighting to cover the fixtures. Comes in a 2'x4' section. There's different styles, pick the one you like best. If you're in an office right now, just look up.

There really isn't any set instructions on how to do this as it's totally up to what you're after...
First, you start with making your own clear lights as described in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=118213
After you master that, all you need to do is retro in your choice of led illumination. The easiest choice being the already-assembled 12-volt tractor trailer or boat trailer led marker lights. Seal it up watertight and that's it.
LasVegasGS did an awesome job in this thread with the pics and info as he did his.
Good luck, and if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

I brought LED strips to mod to my taillights. They only had a positive and negative wire connnected to them. Simple I thought. I connected them to the postive and negative bulb wires and the fired up. Cool. Once I press on the brake pedal they cut off. what gives?

Your best bet for these types of things are eBay and poking around in junkyards. You'd be surprised what you can find wandering thru a junkyard.
