Question Upgrading to HID (involving Self-Leveling Motor)

I have a GS 300 with stock headlights and want to install HID's. I called the Lexus dealer that I purchased my car from a few months ago and they told me that I cannot install/upgrade to HID's unless I have a "self-leveler". I'm far from an expert in this matter, but doesn't a standard HID headlight assembly come with a self-leveling motor, ballast, bulb, and headlight? Could someone clarify/list or direct me to what I need in order to install HID's?

the oem hid headlights, it includes the housing, the bulbs, the ballats, and also the autoleveling computer. you can put everyting on your car and you can even get the hid to work, but you will lose the autoleveling

in order to get that to work, it's a lot of wiring and also the sensors on front and rear wheels. they are just way too hard and expensive to even think about installing.

if you go with oem hid housing, i say just put the hid housing in and connect the hid and forget about the autoleveling. it's ok

i have that setup together with couple other guys. it's lovely
