Clearing Corners

I have a 1st gen Gs300... and as im typing im trying to clear the orange reflectors. i stabbed it with a screwdriver over 100 times and nothing happened, any ideas or tips i can use?

use a small drip tip to drive couple of holes first to weaken the strength?

thanks for your reply, it took me about an hour to finish both, got a few scratches inside the lense but thats okay.
