Question What happend here?

I recently had a fog lamp burn out ( 2 days ago), and now the other one burned out as well.
Is this a connected issue, or is this completely random? I'm pretty pissed b/c burned out
fog lights is a huge pet peeve (sp?) of mine. I noticed on other cars of mine, that once I replace
the original bulb from the factory due to burned out lights, it becomes a regular thing. Does that
happen to anyone else?

When you replace fog light bulbs, make sure not to touch the glass part of the bulbs with your bare fingers as oil or dirt on it tends to shorten the life of the bulbs. Also, another possible reason for the fog light problem could be that water has leaked into the wire harness for the fog lights, thus shortening the circuitry of the bulbs.

I'm moving this to the Lighting forum.
