Default repairing 94 LS Deer Impact damage.

My Passenger headlight and foglight survived impact but the plastic housing and adjustment screws that sit behind them are shot and are not salvageable.

Couple of questions: I know 93-94 headlights are slightly different but do they fit in the same housing?
In other words are only the lens's different?

Does anyone know a good Lexus salvage place to look for such a piece?

thanks, damon

Default try agian

Main question is will my 94 components fit within the light "tub" of a 90-92 model?? This would greatly aid my search for a replacement.

To answer your question damon, yes, headlight assemblies off of '93-'94 models will fit your LS, but you will have to use different bulbs for the headlights as well as change your current wiring harness in order for the bulb sockets to fit properly.

Correct. '93-'94 use H4/9003 bulbs.

Have a 94 and am aware that it uses different lenses that the 90-92 models.

All clear on that. I don't need new lenses and plan on using the same bulbs and harness.

I'll try again, do my 94 lights mount within the same (blackish) plastic mounting and adjustment housing as a 90-92 LS?

Sorry about that, I misread your original question about the difference in lens's. The answer to that question is yes, the lens's are different between '90-'92 and '93-'94 models.

Now, to answer your second question. No, your '94 lights will not mount within the same plastic mounting and housing of a '90-'92 headlight assembly. Both the lens and reflective housing/bulb brackets/assembly of your '94 are different from '90-'92 models. If you put your '94 bulbs into the housing of a '90-'92, the result will be a scattered beam pattern that will yield nothing but glare and not enough light being thrown on the road.
