Default SC300 Nokya "Arctic White"

i had a bulb go out on me the other day (PIAA xtreme white) that i got for free at tirerack a year ago. i liked the piaas but didnt wan't to spend the $75^ price for them. ive had silverstars before but gave them to a friend since i got the piaa's back then. i pretty much was more concerned with light on the ground then actual color in the housing.

ran into these nokya arctic whites online and decided to give them a try (paid $29 incl.. shipping) since i remember a cousin had them for his fogs and they were pretty damn bright. i just put them in tonight, so far im happy with the lighting, and actually surprised by how it lights up the housing. i know a lot of questions are here about replacement bulbs so i thought id share my short experiance wit these.

in short, my opinion is that these have a good mix of color and actual light output on the ground. and it doesnt look like the cheapy bulbs you see on ricers. so far great for the price. enough talk , heres a few pics. and yes they do look a bit blue head on in person, makes me curious about the "arctic purple" light. compared to PIAA these are more white on the ground and in the housing, just not as intense on the ground.

if your wondering, those are just stock foglights. in person these lowbeams make the normal fogs look kinda yellow.

Wow those Nokya Arctic Whites look really good for 4100K, perhaps better than the Silverstars. I can see just a bit of purplish lighting on the ground, but not enough to render it as a 8500K kit Glad to hear you're liking it, and thanks for sharing the pics.

Wow....nice...but what kind of wattage is this thing putting out? I would be check my socket / wires regularly to see if anything melted yet.

its 80W, the old PIAA's were 85W and just the filement inside broke in the others so we'll see what happens with this.
