Default small feet area bulbs?

does anyone know what size bulb and/or where i can get replacement bright white bulbs for the foot area fader lights as well as the glove box light and vantity mirror lights. Gen 1 LS

they are very small wedge bulbs, i've replaced all the others in the interior but i'm having problems finding the small bulbs for those locations.

Bulb types for 1st-gen LS:

Glove box = 161 type
Vanity mirror light = 194 type
Foot (step/courtesy) light = 194 type

Sylvania has an excellent automotive lamp replacement guide here.

Options Auto Salon has a wide selection of aftermarket bulbs for the 168 and 194 type here. I believe the 194 and 168 bulbs are pretty much the same bulb, same wattage, and used interchangeably (correct me if I'm wrong anyone). Hope this info helps

Both footwell and glove compartment use bulb #74. No one has yet to figure out what bulb the vanity mirrors use.

Super white LEDs work great in the footwells and glove compartment.

Cheaper source, but if you're paying via money order, there's a $25 minumum on purchase:

Edit: argh, I always end up posting at the same time as someone else. Anyway, I'd have to correct you on your info lexusk8. Sylvania is a decent source for light bulb applications, but on a few occasions, they're known to provide the incorrect info. The "Foot (step/courtesy) light" they've listed is in regards to the light on the inside of the doors under the armrest/inner handle (the ones that light up the ground when you open the door). Also if the 161 bulb is the same as a 74 (like the 168/194 are used for the same application), then that would be correct.

It's all good Brian. I used to think Sylvania's lamp bulb web site is a great source but didn't realize it's not as accurate as expected. Thanks for correcting my info (and apologies to LS4.0 for any inconvenience); it's always nice to learn new things everyday!

LOL! You have to printout the shopping cart page, which is the page you get directed to after you click the "add to cart" button. Don't forget to add the shipping charges and whatever insurance costs (if you plan on getting it) onto the printout.

Anytime.

Yeah, I didn't even know you were down here until you went back up to WA. You should give everyone a heads up next time, and try to make it to one of our meets.
