Talking I need HID's...wooohooo

I have a 1998 Lexus SC400 and I was wondering what HID retrofit kit is possibly the best for my car. I first had the 4300k Philips D2S for my 1993 SC400 back in 1999. A little creativity was involved with the install since the word "retrofit" was new terminology at the time. I know 6000k's are not DOT approved now but I don't care because Alabama cops are pretty easy going about stuff like that. My brother has the Philips Ultinon 6000k's on his '99 GS and they look great. I was just wondering if they would look good with my projector-style bulbs. Oh yeah...Does anyone know where to purchase decent kits for a reasonable price? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

when you say your bother you might just as well say brendanlim, dude you can try to get the hid kits from jus4bulbs@yahoo.com pretty good price. the output wont' be the best, the best would be to do the e39 retrofit.

Your HID bulbs should last the normal life of your car....assuming no wrecks...so buying extra set of bulbs is overly-cautious.

i hear ya bro, to be honest I had that same kit on my 96 and it worked great, the light output in my projector housing was really classy (not ricey purple). alot of kits nowadays have Phillips ballasts and Taiwanese, etc etc bulbs as well!

As far as the aero goes, good luck man
