Exclamation Driver's side HID out

Tonight I noticed that my driver's sider HID light is not coming on. I am assuming that the OEM D2R is burnt out. I thought this would be a quick and relatively cheap repair. After checking out this forum, it seems that the D2R bulbs are outrageously expensive. As I can't afford to drive around on one light, I need to find a local replacement ASAP that is reasonably priced. If I am willing to stick to OEM type replacement, should I really replace both? By the way, I am assuming that my bulds are originals and I am happy with the color. Are the bulbs labled with brand and temp?

Could it be something other than the bulb? Is there a to check everything before replacing a buld that does no t need replacing?

Is there an article on bulb removal/installation?

Thanks..

Neil

well you still should replace both, otherwise the color would be off and it would look very awkward. a set of 6000k d2r philips is about 250 shipped, i think it's very reasonably priced already? i can only think you can get the 4100k for a bit cheaper

if you want you might want to check on ebay too
