Default Any way to get fogs brighter without getting HIDs for them?

HID fogs are too expensive of an upgrade at the moment so I was wondering if there was a way to get brighter lights from the fogs, something in between factory and the HID fogs in terms of brightness.

You can upgrade the bulbs.

Here's a pic comparing mine (black with Piaa) and Dex's old blue GS (with Silverstars) a couple years ago. Both definitely brigher than stock, the Piaas were definitely brigher than the Silverstars.

Also if you want more light you can go to clear

Something that Lexkhost suggested on another thread was using 9005 hi beam bulbs in there since they have no "cap" like a headlight bulb (that black thing on the top that limits output). Since they are so low, blinding oncoming drivers should not be an issue. He also stated that heat is not a issue either

What Dgot's said . You will have to perform surgery on the 9005 for them to fit tho.

Wink uh huh

YES- the base area will need to be shaved or clipped for perfect fitment. Just clip em or use needle nose pliers & cut em.
