Tim, you should come out to one of our meets because seeing them for yourself will help you decide. We got guys running 3k, 6k, and 8k fogs.

I had the same issue a few weeks back when my yellow bulbs went out. Since switching to 8K bulbs to match my low beam...I can not tell you how happy I have been. Both lights look sick at night and separates you even further from other cars in our class, even other 2IS too. You need to get the ones with the thin ballast though or else it wont fit. Also...because of the wiring of our cars, the fog light will not work when you use the high beam. Hope this helps. I think I want to get some yellow HIDs next for the fogs.

I don't really care if it looks "sick" or not, I wanna know if it truly makes a difference in the overall output and visibility of the road.

Thanks.
