Default 10,000K upgrade...

i just recently purchased and installed a set of 10,000K xenon upgraded bulbs for my gs4....but my problem is that the light concentration on the ground doesnt seem as bright as my 4000K factory HID bulbs...did i install these wrong or the upgraded bulbs just not that good?? but if i were to look directly at the car the lights are very very bright and they have a nice violet look to them...
to conpensate for the brightness i adjusted the headlights down but my auto-leveling system just levels it back up... what am i to do??

10,000k is insane. Anything over 6,000k wont help at all. 4100K has the best output and is the closest to the color during the day.

that's coz' all the lights are going everywhere now...... 10,000k that's stupidly dim to begin with. that's so blue it's almost no light. anything higher than 6000k is too dim anyway. you didn't install it wrong, you just bought it wrong, that's all. 10000k is the color temperature, in case you thought that means brigher than 4100k...

sunlight is around 5000k. the 4100k has the most light output, but to me 6000k is whiter and not really dimmer, that's why i have it.

lsportlex, do you have any pics with your lights on? I've never actually seen how 10000k looks like.

those light are not like super dim, but they are definatly not nearly as bright as the stock bulb.. its brighter that the regular halogen bulb. but the light output is just violet..let just say really violet at that..

another problem is the light output, while still could be bight, but coz' of the different wavelengths, they are shooting everywhere instead of the ground
