I believe they do. I didn't find any that had D2R's.

i hate to say too but there is nothing "wrong", coz' it's "wrong" to put in hid kits anyway. even if he gets a d2r bulbs, the cutoff is going to be bad too coz' the housing itself isn't ready for hid. it's both the housing AND the bulbs togethre that create the clear cut. all you need to do is to aim the headlight down a bit, then you are good to go

Thanks for all the criticism, good and bad. There's no doubt that I'm not going to get an OEM beam pattern, but I would like to get it as good as I can. I drove around a lot tonight and not one person flashed me cuz my lights were too bright. All in all, I'm damn happy with the improvement in the lighting.

I'm NEVER going without HID's again!

I read over on hidforum.com (great site, btw), that the reason rebased D2R bulbs are nearly impossible to find is that the anti-glare pinstripe is pretty much worthless in reflectors not specifically designed to work with the stripe, and people want the 300 or so extra lumens of the D2S.

Hey squarehat, did you see my post over there at hidforum? That's where I got a lot of my info from. You're absolutely correct, GREAT site for HID info. My handle over there is, amazingly, the same...jeremyp111. Original huh.
