LFA #095 - Pearl Brown...on eBay :(
Out of the blue today I get an email from High Priced Herb's Auto Group.
It was one of those monthly love o grams and it includes a couple of LFA pictures. One picture is of of a Ring edition that when clicked links you his Lexus dealership page for virtual test driving.
The second picture links to a page featuring Herb's Cleveland Browns special.

The info claims the car is part of Herb's collection but that doesn't line up with what we have been hearing. It also refers to 150 cars for the US which we know is outdated info.

i was kind of thinking the same, whether he just simply put it back into his collection
The lose money was based on a theory that he would have to discount the cleveland browns mobile to move it.
To date I do not believe we have seen anything about how a dealership will profit from delivering an LFA. The transaction as it was described to me is between the buyer and Lexus Financial Services.
One would think that Lexus cuts something back to the dealer where the customer ordered from/took delivery (might be different).
Off topic, I read something today (may have come from the Automotive news), confirming the LFA roadster in 2014. I would tend to believe this as:
1) Lexus showed the prototype
2) The LFA PS denied it (just like he denied that dealers would get cars befor the end of the production run)
3) They have a perfectly good factory that would be a crime to shut down after 500 cars
4) This would perfect the symmetry with the Alfa 8C project (500 coupes and 500 spiders)

Yeah we will never know the truth behind any of that, all we know is that brown car exist on this earth.

he's been trying to pull cars & coffee at his dealership, his scheme of cars & coffee is not where close to what it is. His perception of the whole idea is to bring car enthusiast to his dealership to potentially have his sales guys try to drag ppl in to buy cars. His F1 is nice i have to say, and the coffee mugs...well he does that at all his events.
now i do want to see his f1
Yes his F1 is awesome....now time to get this off-topic out of the lfa thread.
A person I know saw Mr. Bean commute to the movie studio in his F1 right before he crashed it a few weeks ago. That would be so cool to me, seeing someone using a F1 as a commuter.
