Servco Automotive brought a new model to its Servco Lexus showroom in Honolulu Tuesday — a limited-edition, handcrafted Lexus LFA sports car with a sticker price of $454,080.
The bright yellow-orange roadster — No. 367 — is one of only 500 of the models available worldwide, Servco Automotive President Rick Ching said.
The Hawaii model is even more rare — a special-edition model that produces 562 horsepower and is one of only 50 built, Ching said.
The Lexus LFA sports car at the Servco Lexus dealership in Honolulu is capable of going from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds.
That is great to hear. Do you know which city is it going to?
No, I didn't. Found this out from a friend of mine who works at toyota, and the one who got to drive/move the car around when needed. The car had to be weighed, licensed and registered in hawaii before it left. Apparently the new owner currently has a lfa, so this would make 2 that he owns now.
The car has been in hawaii for 3 years, and I bet nobody even knew it existed here. I figured it would go out of state if bought because I couldn't see anybody local buying it unfortunately.
I got to check the car out shortly after it arrived in hawaii, and it sure is nice in person!
^^^ this car is on YouTube already for a couple years ......
Link to it??? It was on the local news when it first arrived in july 2012. Was at the lexus dealership for a few months then went to the main toyota dealership and was inside the office area for the remaining time until a few days ago. It did make an appearance at the new car show in 2013 or 2014 don't remember. Other then that, and it has actually never been driven on the road at all in hawaii. Anyways before it is loaded up on the pallet.
