Is it the "John Connor loves Terminator and I love the LFA" type thing??

 

I hate how he mentions the GT-R again and says it's nine-tenths as good, when he already argued that the LFA was more than 5 times as good as the GT-R in the Top Gear supercar parade last year.

Also he loses some credibility to me when he says the LFA has "a boot you can use", which makes it seem as if he was just trying to make things up to make his point.

 

I think this is a different review as he wrote it for the February 2013 magazine. The one you mentioned was written for sunday times several months ago (in which, he says GTR is 9/10th as good), which was well before the supercar parade.

Maybe, his thoughts have been evolving and this review is new one we have never read before after he finished filming the 2-hour season special since he has spent several weeks with the LFA shooting the episode in Nevada.

Maybe, this new review recaps his experience of driving LFA for several weeks in Nevada.
