OK...possibly my bad. You guys may be correct on the numbers. Originally, as I understood it, they were planning a couple of thousand, but they may have settled on 500. Anyhow, the point was that, whether 500 or a couple of thousand, the car is rare and expensive enough that many of us haven't had a chance to even quickly sit in one, much less drive it or examine all the controls in detail.

Also makes you wonder, doesn't it, why her boyfriend bought her one, when she, with her Hilton fortune, probably has more money than he does, and could have easily afforded one herself. I'm sure, though, that she is MOST appreciative of the gift he gave her......if you get my point. ;)

Hey...if you aren't being sarcastic, you are at least one of the few of us to actually sit in one. :) Not many of us can say that.

as far as i remember as they debut the car they already said 500 and only 500.

i sat in a few, i have driven it too. actually quite a few people on here that i know of who have driven the car.

doesn't really help on the auto headlights i guess :p

She I can say has been doing a pretty good job of staying out of the spotlight... trying to stay out of the headlights too. ;)

Mine drained because i popped the trunk but never opened it, and thus never shut it.

There is an identical thread in the LFA forum no?

If Paris Hilton qualified for LFA ownership, the bar must have been set pretty low for entrance into that exclusive club. Probably some credits for bank account and a reputation for foolish spending slid her over, but you'd think that her penchant for tabloid headlines and notorious stories involving her other vehicles should have warned Lexus that her ownership of one of their products wouldn't reflect well on them.

But if Lexus wanted to join her stable, it has some pretty impressive company:
  • Blue Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet
  • Pink Bentley Continental GT
  • Red Ferrari California
  • Gray Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
  • Yellow Lexus LFA
- all the current model year. Evidently she replaces them when the ashtray's full or the windshield's dirty. ;)

the yellow one was one of the prototype (p014) lexus owns. they loaned the car out to them for their reality show back then (while the white one was in production)

Fark! Met several smart and savvy female LFA owners at Laguna Seca this week. Paris was not there...

Sad. :(

I always manually control my headlights on all my cars, so that won't be a problem.

Besides, I already ran out the battery on my LFA a few weeks ago. :)

lunaC42 Aug 25, 2012 04:46 PM

well, cruise control would be SO WRONG. what i don't understand is the heated seats...

92 SC400 Aug 25, 2012 05:54 PM

Would the battery really drain that fast from leaving the lights on for a few hours?
