why would they fill up the gas to full thats just an increased hazard and weight during shipment. That makes sense that they would only ship it with a gallon or two. Car is suppose to get filled up at the dealer when new.

As mentioned previously, there seems to be significant opinion in support of full fuel tanks when storing cars.

There is a key cylinder. The start process is:

1. Insert key into cylinder and turn key to "on" position.
2. Simultaneously pull back on both gear change paddles.
3. Press start button.

You can't really see the process but can hear the steps during a video I posted of the ignition back on post #114 of this thread:

Any news on the lap timer function yet?

Also, I'm not sure if anyone has asked, How's the sound system?

Sorry, I forgot to look up the lap timer function for you before. It is actually just a manual stopwatch function that the driver has to press during each lap (presumably at whatever start/finish line). After going through the LCD display and putting the lap timer function up on screen, it is started by pressing the up arrow on the steering wheel toggle switch, and then each lap can be marked by again pressing the up arrow

I suppose anything other than a manual system would have to be GPS-based and that would be itself inherently inaccurate.

The audio system is good so I'm glad I got at least the ML/Nav config II. I've only had it on when the car is off, but the quality is very good. A lot of that may have to do with the small cabin size which helps with acoustics.

By audio system you mean the motor right? That's all I'd need, that sound is amazing!

Default RED LFA in Chicago

Saw the red one about a month ago. Came out of a club downtown hammered drunk and immediately sobered up as soon as I laid eyes on it. What a stunning car. The guy who drove off in it was a younger guy, it sounded great, similar to the carerra GT but we all know that nothing can sound better than a Carrera GT!

LFA sounds better than Porsche Carrera GT stock for stock especially when LFA is reaching that 9500 rpm rev limit. Much more high-string, dense and rich sound.
