Looks to me like the silver one is #003 from Atlanta that belongs to Roy??

What's scary is that you know the name of the possible owner. lol

 

LOL. Lots of people know him since he shows up in car shows all the time. The license plate seems different Roy's LFA has a 003 in the number (since his VIN is # 003).

Unlike most other LFA that are collecting dust in their owner's garages, he is a very high visibility owner who truly show cases what the car was intended by Lexus to be for.

 

lmao... Future restraining orders possibly? Notice Gengar doesn't come around here too much after delivery. hmmmmn

 

Roy took delivery January of this year during the Atlanta SnowStorm so he couldn't take it home immediately. So it was at the dealer until the weather got better! The dealer was Hennessy Lexus. and absolute fabulous dealership. This was delivered last month at a different dealer so its a different silver.



Roy came to my SELOC/Vossen meet at Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett . We spoke for about 20 minutes. The guy is simply one of the nicest guys around and a true enthusiast. He LEFT us the LFA for others to check out as he had something else to do. We talked about the car, tracking it, the other one he ordered, his wife, etc. Great guy.

Hennessy called him and told him about the meet and he was there BEFORE ME What a great guy as we had two LFAs there which blew people away



Yeah, great guy, can't say enough great things about him.

 

Just an FYI this dealership is in New Jersey...

... which is kinda far from Atlanta, Georgia.

Yeah, it is good to know that atleast one owner is really doing what Lexus wanted LFA to be used for, which is show casing what the car was about as Lexus cannot endlessly continue to dish out money to keep the car from being forgotten and ignored. It is typically the owner's responsibility as it happens in all of the other legendary cars that have never been forgotten.

It sucks that Lexus could not get the true passionate people like Roy to buy the LFA as they decided to pick something else.

In the midst of the most lame poseur owners (no offense to anyone) that bought the LFAs, it is refreshing to see that one buyer is doing everything he can to keep the LFA in the memory of people and keeping it fresh as LFA is already beginning to be forgotten and becoming an oudated news of yesteryear.
