On my way to work yesterday I pass a Lexus dealer(Lexus of Brookfield) just down the street from my office. I had seen a large semi trailer parked out front prepping to unload. My initial thoughts were maybe an LFA was hidden inside My suspicions were right! Today on my way past, I see a nice red LFA sitting out front. On my way home today, I stopped, snagged a few camera pics, and spoke to a gentlemen who worked there. Supposedly the car belongs to the owner Mrs. Safro (Jack, her late husband owns the dealership). She plans to hang onto it and not sell it. It has about 30 miles on it from a short trip to an event she took it to.
Long story short, I felt a little depressed pulling away in my IS350, only wishing I could afford the LFA
Thanks for the report and pictures. Cool that it's a female owner. You didn't happen to get the badge number, did you? (Kinda hard to see it from outside the car - it's between the seats on the rear partition.)
There was a vid of this car posted on youtube a few days ago:

Cool video, I could have shot that the day I seen the trailer unloading it, bummer. I work literally down the street.
No problem Gengar. Probably one of very very few female owned LFA's, maybe she's single (cougar)?
Sorry, no badge number. I didn't peer inside too much, more focused on the outside. Nice car though, very similar red to my wifes previous Matador Red Mica IS250....the dealer said it has a different color code though.

Ya, it's similar but called "Pearl Red" and as you said it has a different color code (3S4). I love the color.
I asked some Lexus people if they could custom factory color an IS F in Pearl Red, telling them I'd buy an '11 if they did (I was only half-joking). Of course, I wound up getting an '11 in the meantime anyway. They said it would probably be cheaper/easier/faster to just do it aftermarket, so I guess that option is still open for me.
This car should be seen all over the Milwaukee area. The owner is the owner of the Lexus dealership I work at as well as the Brookfield dealership it was delivered at.
