Post LFA Monthly Sales Thread

Every month we can update this. According to their chart, 4 were sold in January. I assume this means "delivered" to a customer.

Ah, I have no idea. Claus Ettensberger mentioned 173 in the CEC LFA video and he's very close with the LFA team, so I was just going with the highest I've heard recently.

I wish they broke the Matrix sales out of the Corolla bucket.

I wonder how many LFA buyers are getting the fitted carbon fiber luggage?

Lexus sales in January stunk.

The big Lexus SUBarge outsold the Toyota Landcrusher

I looked and there was nothing reported in December so this must be based on delivered and titled either to an end customer or possibly sold to a dealer? Someone may know, but do they define "sold" to a dealer's flooring line or to the actual end customer? If sales are spread over the two years, numbers should average somewhere around 7 LFAs a month, depending on how other countries are slotted in the production mix over the actual number of allocated cars.

I am 99.9% certain Toyota and everyone else reports sales as in "titled" to a customer or a fleet car (loaner for example).

Makes sense given that more than four arrived in January.

Unlikely, they are still having problems sourcing parts from areas affected that were sub-contracted to Toyota.

I just ordered 5 cars for the business and I am told a wait of 6 months or more on cars that usually have delivered in 1-2 months in the past. Expect things to not pick up in production until at least next year, things are still pretty grim here.

In my opinion, in the end Toyota won't be able to keep up with demand over the coming months, very sad really.
