95 dwp sc400 !nice!
1995 SC400 Pearl White
163k miles
Located in College Station, Texas
Price= 4,000
While originally put up for sale in May as shown, all info within this post is updated as of February 2012..I was not too serious with selling back then...However, I am a more motivated seller at this time
Feb. 2012 1 negative to note: when removing and replacing throttle body, I think I fried a fuse for the traction control. The code is TRAC 26. In any case, it doesn't affect the car in any way except for no traction control at this time. I still pull 24-26 mpg on the highway and 18-19mpg in the city.I'm not worried about it and neither should anyone else.
I am putting my car up for sale. Why am I thinking of selling you ask? I'm about to sart driving a ton in the city and I'm a new father so a 4 door is needed.
A little info about the car...
I purchased this car in May of 2010 from a clublexus member. Since purchasing the car, I have done a TON of maitenance (reciepts for all). This is my second SC and have taken care of all the required maintenance. The car's paint is great except for the rear bumper that has a few spider web cracks from idiot parking lot drivers. The interior is also great except for the drivers seat leather and the normal SC interior wear items (cracked center vents, LCD screen, cracked door trim). I was going to and still might install leatherseat.com seat leathers. I can promise you this, you will not be dissapointed with this car.
List of Maintenance
Prior to me owning it by last owner...
Starter replaced 6/2009
Rear brakes at 2/2010
Engine and transmission mounts 6/2009
Lifetime warranty tint
Since I have owned the SC400...
New KYB shocks and Supra TT springs (springs had 30k)
COMPLETE timing belt and water pump service...all seals, tensioners, bearings, thermostat, serp. belt. This was a big $$ job. 11/2010
Brand new power steering rack. 4 wheel alignment 11/2010
Complete Ignition Service...NGK spark plugs, NGK plug wires, ignition coils, rotors, caps, PCV valve, spark plug tube seals. Summer 2010
Replace both drivers and passenger side valve cover gaskets. Summer 2010 on drivers. 1/2012 on passenger
Complete fluids flush...coolant, brake, rear diff., tranny. 11/2010
New battery as of 12/2011
Resealed Transmission gasket 01/2012
New throttle body gasket. Also comple tely cleaned throttle body butterfly valve. 01/2012
I also installed 4 new replica Saleen wheels 18x9 +24 with 235/40/18 Federal SS tires. I also installed correctly sized hubcentric rings and lug nuts.
Total cost for all of this...OVER $3 GRAND
I also started the BFI but have not completed it yet.
Basically, you can buy a beater and spend big money on just getting it to run right or you can buy mine and mod the heck out of it and not have to spend any money on maintenance. YOUR CHOICE!

Nope. I sold them shortly after I bought the car from you. Two of the tires were showing metal so I sold the wheels to help finance what I put on the car. A guy with a 95 Sc300 in Houston bought them. He was very happy with them.
